A Spinning Squirrel Feeder as a Gift for a Backyard Wildlife Watcher
Know someone who stops what they’re doing to watch a squirrel? Whirl-a-Squirrel gives them something new to watch from the window or porch. Before choosing one as a gift, check their yard, the feeder’s size, and what they’ll need to set it up.
Make sure there is suitable space
This is a ground-mounted feeder, so the recipient needs a suitable yard and room for the arm to turn. A balcony or small enclosed patio may not work. If the gift is a surprise, ask someone in the household to check the space and installation instructions for you.
Choose a size they can use
The Original is about 70 inches tall. The Colossal is more than seven feet tall, with a nearly 7½-foot spinning wingspan. Choose for the space they have; the larger model needs a much larger clear area.
Check the details before ordering
Check the product page for delivery estimates and included parts, especially whether corn is included. Both models come with assembly instructions, free shipping, and a one-year warranty. If you have a gift date in mind, ask us about timing before ordering.
For a personal touch, share our family’s story with your gift. Then let the squirrels provide the entertainment, at their own pace.
