Original or Colossal Spinning Squirrel Feeder: Which Fits Your Yard?
Both feeders work the same way: a squirrel climbs toward the corn, its weight tips the arm, and the ride begins. The main difference is size. Here’s how to choose one for your yard.

Measure the space before choosing
Original: about 70 inches tall. It’s the smaller of the two models.
Colossal: more than seven feet tall, with a nearly 7½-foot spinning wingspan.
Both models: heavy-duty steel, ground-mounted support, an adjustable counterweight, free shipping, and a one-year warranty.
Measure the whole area the arm will move through, not just the spot where the pole goes. Follow your model’s instructions for clearance and installation.

Compare the features both models share
Both models hold corn cobs and use the squirrel’s weight to create motion. Neither needs a tree, motor, or electrical outlet. Assembly instructions are included. Install the base securely, check that the arm has room to move, and adjust the counterweight as directed.

Pick the right size for your backyard
Choose the Original if you prefer the smaller model. Consider the Colossal if you have room for its much larger arm. Watch the demonstrations on our home page to see the difference in scale.
